To support the delivery of our specialist projects, we work closely with our group of experts across Workplace, People & Culture and ESG, The Workwell Collective

  • kristal mcnamara

    Kristal McNamara, Co-Founder.

    People & Culture, DEI and change management strategist.

    Kristal is our HR expert and a specialist in gender equality. She is qualified and experienced in Change and Programme Management (AMPG) and HR (CIPD) and is passionate about ensuring that people & culture initiatives are well embedded in organisations and affect meaningful outcomes for employees.

    She is a member of the BSI National Committee for Gender Equality, and a Director of the Bristol Women in Business Charter CIC.

    Kristal carries out engagement, strategy & implementation work., specialising in gender equality with an intersectional lens.

  • deborah wilder

    Deborah Wilder, Co-Founder.

    Workplace strategist, health psychologist, ESG consultant.

    Deborah has extensive experience in behaviour change research and interventions in academic and workplace settings. She led the Workplace Research and Strategy team at a leading workplace design and build specialist for several years.

    She combines her understanding of what people need in the workplace with her office design knowledge, to support businesses in navigating workplace strategy, DE&I, employee wellbeing and employee experience.

    Her passion is for improving inclusion & belonging, health & wellbeing and sustainability at work.

  • Jennifer Duckworth, Associate.

    Business Psychologist and HR Project Manager.

    Jennifer supports us on key client projects. She offers a significant generalist HR background together with a range of consultancy experience, gained following completion of her MSc in Occupation and Business Psychology.

    She is an expert in training and development, team building and personality profiling. She thrives on connecting with others to understand their goals and challenges. She loves to combine a rigorous evidence-based approach with operational know-how to ensure she delivers practical solutions that make a genuine difference.

Humans are social animals. We thrive off being together for learning, creativity, support and companionship. But people are all different and new ways of working and workplaces need to support individual needs. Some love working from home. But others experience isolation and lack of motivation when remote working.

We help businesses take care of their people so their people can take care of the business.

Our Ethos.

Climate.

As well as vital for the planet, an organisation’s sustainability credentials are key drivers in attracting and retaining talent, with an increasing number of people considering the environment when choosing an employer. The climate impact of different ways of working is complex but does need to be considered.

We help businesses measure and reduce the carbon footprint of hybrid work.

Society.

All businesses have great intentions for diversity and inclusion but addressing intersectionality in the workplace requires a good level of understanding, research and strategy. We consider issues such as how to prevent those from marginalised groups from withdrawing from the physical workplace due to its barriers.

We think businesses can play a bigger role in addressing their wider impact on society and we can help them to do so.

We are committed to inclusive, equitable and sustainable working practices, positively benefitting people, climate and society. Our team give their time on a voluntary basis to support other initiatives, through mentoring and advising, including supporting the Bristol Women in Business Charter.
