Workplace.

It is more than important than ever to provide welcoming, supportive, vibrant workplaces that people feel they want to go to rather than have to go to. When they go to the office they need to have the right spaces and technology, see the people they need to and feel that their time was well spent.

To support the delivery of our projects, we work closely with our group of experts across Workplace, People & Culture and ESG The Workwell Collective.

Workplace Discovery and Evaluation.

  • Are you ready to review your workplace?

  • Do you need to assess the space and location you work in?

  • Are you in need of help to modernise your space?

  • Do you need to engage with your teams about what’s working well and what needs to improve?

  • Does your existing facilities team need upskilling to a workplace experience team?

  • Do you have the right tech in place to support hybrid working?

Our workplace discovery and evaluation can include:

  • Employee survey

  • Focus groups

  • Utilisation study or observation

  • Senior leadership visioning seminar

Our recent workplace projects.

Case Study: IOPP - Workplace Experience Evaluation

IOPP took occupation of a very attractive, well designed and equipped office over 1.5 floors at the Distillery in central Bristol. IOPP employees were used to fairly traditional ways of working in their previous office. They had recently introduced ‘fully flexible hybrid’ ways of working as well as a new employee proposition. Engagement and guidance was required to review and assess the physical and virtual workplaces.

Case Study: Aster Group - Hybrid working engagement, education and strategy

Leading housing organisation Aster Group merged with London based Central & Cecil Housing Trust (C&C) in early 2022. Many C&C colleagues felt unsettled by the merger and wanted to have their say about workspaces and future ways of working. We were required to deliver a workplace engagement and strategy project to understand how C&C colleagues were working and how they would work in the future.

“Deborah challenges in the right way, calling out potential issues and really helps bring the wider world of work into the decision-making process.  It is always a real pleasure to work with Deborah and Workwell and we look forward to working together in the future.” Aster

Case Study: Vehicle Certification Agency, Workplace brief and design

The Vehicle Certification Agency (VCA) is an Executive Agency of the UK Government’s Department for Transport. They have a central Bristol HQ and other offices nationally. The interior of their 20,000 sq. ft Bristol HQ was outdated and not suitable for hybrid working which had been introduced since the pandemic. They had recently acquired additional space to accommodate a growing workforce, they had large numbers of unused desks, and they lacked shared spaces.

Our workplace strategist and workplace designer worked closely with the client’s Head of Estates to evolve the brief and then create concept designs, 3D visuals, and space planning for a new hybrid workplace.
